JUJU is Belfast (and Ireland’s) first Japanese-style jazz kissa – a dedicated café for listening to jazz, hosted by Belfast-born photographer and writer, Philip Arneill, creator of the acclaimed TOKYO JAZZ JOINTS project. JUJU will provide a pop-up space where the music always takes centre stage: come along, sip on a coffee, switch off and lose a few hours listening to jazz – from bop, spiritual, soul jazz and everything in-between – played loudly and proudly on vinyl. JUJU is a chance to experience a taste of the unique world of Japanese jazz kissa without leaving the heart of Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter.
