Following the success of its debut last year, VANTA returns as part of this year’s Sound of Belfast Festival, bringing with it a new phase of the immersive audio-visual experience from Timmy Stewart & The Fully Automatic Model.

Described as a collaborative exploration where sound and light meet, VANTA moves beyond the traditional boundaries of a live music event, creating an environment where electronic music, visual art, lighting and performance come together as an evolving experience.

The second phase of VANTA builds on the foundations established at last year’s event, taking the project into new territory and continuing its exploration of the relationship between sound, light, space & audience.

Across the night, the Oh Yeah Music Centre becomes the setting for an experience designed to unfold around the audience, combining carefully constructed electronic soundscapes with an evolving visual & lighting environment.

For Timmy Stewart & The Fully Automatic Model, the return of VANTA represents the next step in an ongoing creative experiment, that embraces technology, improvisation and atmosphere while remaining rooted in Belfast's vibrant independent music art&s community.
