Belfast-based songwriter Tom Gee launches his long-awaited new EP, Doubting Thomas, with a special full-band performance as part of this year's Sound of Belfast festival.

This EP tackles everything from religion and politics to love, loss and laughter. Rooted in strong melodies and honest lyrics, Tom brings together influences from folk, Americana and blues in his latest release which was produced and recorded at Half-Bap Studios in Belfast. It features a co-write with Eve Belle, a love song to the city of Belfast as well as one all about being told he looks like Jesus.

Through his role as the founder and curator of the Sunflower Sessions, a music night that celebrates original artists and collaboration, Tom has been embraced by the Belfast music community and this show reflects that by having a band consisting of local legends George Sloan, Adam Booth, Sarah McCreedy, M Alexander and Matt McIvor. Expect to laugh, cry or sing. Or all three.
