Offbeat Live: Songwriting Showcase

  • Ulster Sports Club 96-98 High Street Belfast, Northern Ireland, BT1 2BG United Kingdom (map)

Join us for Offbeat Live, a special showcase celebrating the incredible songwriting talent brought together through Offbeat Songcamp, developed as part of Output 2026.

Headlining the evening is our very special guest King Cedar, joined by acclaimed songwriter Kippysmuse and a performance from Andy Skinner.

Throughout the night, audiences will hear a selection of original songs performed by attendees of the Offbeat Songcamp, offering a unique opportunity to experience the creativity, collaboration and new music that emerged from this exciting programme.

Developed as part of Output 2026 and funded by Belfast City Council and University of the Atypical through the Sounds Atypical Grant Scheme 2026, the Offbeat Songcamp welcomed disabled and neurodivergent songwriters into an inclusive creative space where they could write, learn and collaborate with industry professionals. Throughout the programme, participants worked alongside acclaimed artists and songwriters including Imogen Williams (Imogen and the Knife), BFranks Suzie Blue and The Anchoress, creating a collection of brand-new original songs that will be showcased throughout the evening.

From first-time collaborators to experienced performers, Offbeat Live shines a spotlight on the songs, stories and voices that made this year's camp such a memorable experience.
