The Old Town Music Project brings an extraordinary collection of artists together at St Joseph’s Church, Sailortown for the launch of The Old Town Project Album as part of Sound of Belfast.

What started as musicians standing together against the rise of AI-generated music has become a hive of creativity and collaboration, bringing artists from different generations and musical worlds together around one wonderfully simple idea: everyone writes an original song called The Old Town...

Featuring Charlie Hanlon, Vera, Microtonal, Eve Belle, Aqua Tofana, Brendan Kerr, Donal Scullion, Blackjack and Jai Sian, with more to be announced and Cormac Neeson and California Irish as house band, expect folk, indie, rock, alternative and experimental sounds, unexpected collaborations and a celebration of what happens when actual humans get together and make music.

Album proceeds supporting ANAKA Women’s Collective.

Real people. Real stories. Real songs.
