AVA Presents: Eliza Rose

FIND TICKETS

AVA Festival returns to Banana Block, our favorite East Belfast warehouse. On 10th of November the former linen-mill turned multi-purpose venue will play host to one of the biggest names in electronic music right now: Eliza Rose.

Rose wears many hats: DJ, producer, vocalist, and label-head (to name a few). Following her seriously lively Boiler Room debut at the Festival this year, she has only gone from strength to strength capitalising on her meteoric success which began in 2022 with her track B.O.T.A (Baddest Of Them All) produced alongside Interplanetary Criminal.
The track went to #1 in the UK Singles Chart, an accolade not achieved by a female electronic artist since 2002.

Support comes from Natalie Simpson, better known as KEM, an alumni of AVA’s Female & Non-Binary+ producer Programme. She has went on to play for some of Belfast’s most prominent local promoters including The Night Institute, Danse Intermission and Inside Moves before making her AVA Festival debut in 2022. This Tyrone born local legend is one of Northern Ireland’s most exciting emerging acts.

Also appearing on the bill is Megan Nolan aka Mercorn who smashed an early slot for AVA at their In the Woods stage at All Together Now earlier this year. Hailing from Dublin she channels a decade of clubbing in the Irish Capital into her sets, which have gained attention further afield in the UK & Europe. Mercorn is a key player in building Dublin’s queer scene, nurturing and encouraging female-identifying, trans and non-binary creatives in the realm of music and the arts.

Expect a serious audio-visual overhaul in classic AVA style this November with out-of-this-world production provided by Visual Spectrum to showcase the one-of-a-kind artists and venue.
